About

I am Donya Williams, Co-Host of the online show Genealogy Adventures live, author of Comes to the Light: Learning About the Entangled Families of Edgefield, SC (2017); & Founder of the Sheila Hightower Allen DNA Project. I worked in an office setting for more than fourteen years in several administrative positions. The positions I've had & the people I've met have prepared me for the things I do now. Currently, I work at the DAR as a data entry specialist, but my goal is to tell the stories of the African Americans who came before me & fill in the blanks missing from American History.
