Today, we have the distinct honor of welcoming Ms. Aisha Braveboy, the County Executive-elect of Prince George’s County, Maryland. Ms. Braveboy has long been a champion for justice, equity, and community empowerment. As a former State Delegate and the County’s top prosecutor, she has led groundbreaking initiatives to reform the criminal justice system, support economic development, and advocate for policies that uplift families and businesses alike. Now, as the second elected Black woman to serve as County Executive, she is poised to make history yet again.
